Back to you, Bryan !!!

I did it! I went to Bryan Adams' concert for the second time! Let's make a night to remember!: the night started a bit stressed: I finished work at 20:00 h and took the underground to Plaça Espanya; there I took a taxi (yeah, I know....really close to the Palau Sant Jordi, right?, but I wasn't in time!..) but we had some troubles to reach the place where the concert had to take place, as some policemen cut the streets surrounding the palau, sooo....we had to try finding another way! This took the taxi driver about 8-10 more minutes over the time, but after driving up and down, he finally said: "well, I think you should jump off the car now". I took a look outside from the window and I just saw darkness (well, yeah..maybe a little exaggerate, but it sounds more interesting this way!), so I asked him where the entrance of the palau was and he just said: "no idea! follow the people!". And that's what I did.

Anyway...I Don't give up and finally got into the stadium! Now the second part was coming: I had to find Núria and her friends ! Chan chan chaaaan !!! This was maybe the worst part, as i couldn't hear a word of what my friend was saying to me by her mobile because of a HORRIBLE singer that was trying to put the audience into the show before Bryan's play (without any good result, belive me....have you ever heard the sound of a chicken being killed....? well..me neither, but SURE it sounds the same way!). Luckily, after many tries shouting by my mobile, I finally found someone!. And then, the show started!. And let me tell you that, definitely, YES, it was worth it!!! It was stressful trying to get the place, but.... the show was GREAT! I must admit I'm not a huge fan of Bryan, but i do like his music and, over all of this, I think he's a very warm and close person whose shows are full of Positive Energy and Passion: he really enjoys what he does and tries to do The Best of me all the time!. People can feel that kind of things and I'm sure this is one of the reasons why they go to his concerts. At the same time, he knows how to make the audience happy and satisfied: that night he played a really extensive bis on his own and I thank him a lot for his effort doing it!
Definitely, it was One night love affair! and I'm looking forward to the next time he'll come to Barcelona again! That time I'll be in the first line of the audience !!!!

Just one final comment: Bryan..."the only thing that looks good on me is you!"

Ja fa bastant temps, un amic em va passar una cinta VHS on havia gravat una pel.lícula de molt baix pressupost (27,575 dòllars que el director Kevin Smith havia obtingut de la venda de la seva col.lecció de còmics, d'una donació familiar i del resultat de treballar a Quick Stop i RST Video) i em va dir que me la mirés, que segur que m'agradaria. I era cert!. Encara recordo com em va agradar aquella successió d'imatges en b/n d'una qualitat que no era increïblement bona (Clerks es va filmar amb una càmera Arri SR-2 de 16mm i es van fer servir pel·lícules Kodak Plus-X) i que feia joc amb el so, que tampoc era gaire bó, per ser sincers. Però tot això era part del seu encant... tenia aquell esperit underground i alternatiu, una mica com els còmics de l'Allison Cole o l'Adrian Tomine (tu est d'accord, petit eyeux...?)
Ara, uns anys més tard, he aconseguit tornar-la a veure gràcies a l'ajuda de la tecnologia (l'e-mule m'ha facilitat molt les coses!) i he rigut tant (o més!) que la primera vegada que la vaig veure, recordant els diàlegs sobre-res-en-particular entre Dante i el seu amic Randall (fantàstic Jeff Anderson) i tornant a viure totes les situacions per les quals passen els personatges: véase els "36...no, 37" amics de la Verònica, l'home que entra al lavabo amb les revistes pornogràfiques, l'enginyós representant d'una marca de xiclets, l'escena del funeral, la multa per vendre tabac a una menor... i un llarguíssssim etc. provocat per tota la sèrie de peculiars (i fins i tot una mica frikies!) clients que desfilen per la botiga de Dante a qui, recordem, "ni tan sols li tocava venir a treballar aquell dia!"
En definitiva, una de les meves pel.lí­cules preferides i una manera brillant de donar un cop d'ull a la Cultura del Taulell !

Whisky (o tres tipus de solitud)

Podríem definir la pel.lícula Whisky amb la paraula Rutina (o almenys és la que m'ha passat pel cap just després de sortir del cinema). A través de les seves quasi-dues-hores de durada, se'ns explica com la vida monòtona, gris i trista (els personatges quasi únicament somriuen quan han de dir la paraula que dóna nom al film) de dues persones es veu alterada per una tercera peça que entra en escena per passar amb ells un cap de setmana. Tot i que a primera vista pot semblar un drama, la pel.lícula té molts punts de comèdia, la majoria derivats del propi dramatisme, irònicament.... i té un ritme bastant àgil (no vaig mirar el rellotge en cap moment i això, tot i que no ho sembli, és un molt bon indicador...). És curiós pensar que la vida que porten els personatges, que sembla TERRIBLEMENT aburrida i rutinària (i ho sembla perquè, efectivament, ho és...) i que, en un principi, podem pensar que és fins i tot exagerada, pot ser la de milers de persones amb qui ens creuem al metro, als carrers de la ciutat o que seuen al costat nostre al bar o al cinema, per exemple. Si ens parem un moment a pensar-ho, realment hi ha molts homes grisos al món.

En definitiva, tot i que potser no és la millor pel.lícula que he vist últimament, és una molt bona opció per passar una estona entretinguda i per veure un retrat, des del meu punt de vista, molt ben elaborat de les relacions i la societat humanes i gaudir del gran treball interpretatiu dels tres actors principals.

Ja em direu què us ha semblat si al final em feu cas i aneu a veure-la al cinema!

Reflexions sobre els taxis...

Fa temps que tinc dos dubtes sobre els taxis de la nostra ciutat (em refereixo a barcelona, per si algú no viu per aqui...) donant voltes pel meu cap i encara no n'he trobat la solució...(s'accepten propostes!)

• Per què no hi ha cap taxi de la marca Audi a Barcelona, tal com passa a altres ciutats...?

• Si pugem a un d'aquells taxis antics model tipus londinenc...la tarifa és la mateixa que si pugéssim a un de model modern...?

Hola hola hola!
Bueeeeno....ha nacido una estrella! El diario de pijus está en la calle !!! La verdad es que esto ha nacido simplemente como consecuencia de querer escribir en el blog de mi coleguilla, Il estatore. Si, si, como lo oís....quería añadir un comentario y para hacerlo he tenido que darme de alta y de repente me he encontrado en una página web escogiendo un modelo para mi blog. Mi PROPIO BLOG !!!!!! Lo cierto es que no sé si esta empresa gozará de larga vida o no, eso ya se verá, pero de momento aqui está para todos los que querais disfrutar (llamadme modesta!) de ella!
